Study on Retrofitting of Small-scale Water Supply Facility using aeration and Closed-circuit Reverse Osmosis

Objectives : A water treatment system, combining aeration and reverse osmosis (RO) processes, was introduced to improve supply facilities in a small village where additional required due high concentrations of natural radioactive substances, nitrate nitrogen, fluoride. In this study, CCRO(Closed-circuit osmosis) first for commercial use Korea. It could produce high-quality tap through CCRO, expecting meeting drinking-water standards would be attainable even when contains high-concentration pollutants.
